What is Ultimate Pilates (UP)?

Our studio is stocked with the Megaformer M2 Black Edition.. On the Megaformer, you will be able to strengthen, tighten, and tone the entire body quickly and safely using an integrated combination of pilates, circuit training, strength training, and cardio. The 50 minute group classes are perfectly designed to be the only work out you need to get the results you desire without spending hours at the gym.
How can I contact UP to schedule a class?
We recommend all our members get familiar with the mindbody online booking system, as it is the easiest, fastest, and most accurate way to book classes. View classes on the Mindbody web site or mobile app (Apple Store link or Google Play link) Classes can be booked up to two weeks in advance. Walk-ins are welcome pending availability; however reserving a space online guarantees a spot in class.
I have never done the workout before, can I do the classes? Or should I do a private session first?
The Lagree Method is specifically designed for a group setting. Our certified instructors will show you how to set up your machine before class (please arrive 10 minutes early for your first class) and provide you with modifications needed for each move during classes.
If you are hesitant to enter a group class, or have chronic back pain, painful joints, a sever medical condition or have not been physically active in the past, we will be happy to offer you a private session during non-class hours.
Keep in mind that for safety and sanitary reasons, Grip Socks are required for all classes. Grip socks are available for purchase in the studio.
How often should I do Lagree at UP?
The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue – at which point you need to rest to get maximum benefit. Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of YOUR workout, you will need more or less time to recover. We recommend 2-3 times a week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. Listen to your body. You may need more or less time to get the results YOU want.
What if I’m late to class?
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early if it is your first class. As a returning client, if you do not show up for your reserved spot within 5 minutes after the start of class, it may be given to a standby student. Doors are locked once the workout begins. We do not have a receptionist and arriving late takes the instructor away from the class, which is a safety risk. We are not able to reschedule ClassPass clients.
What is your cancellation policy?
To receive a full refund for a cancellation of your reservation, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your class. If you cancel within 12 hours you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. If you do not late cancel within 2 hours of class or do not show up for class, you will be charged a no show fee of $25. No exceptions. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class. If you do not show up for your reserved spot within 5 minutes after the start of class, it may be given to a standby student.
What is the “waitlist”?
If you decide to register yourself on a waitlist, you will automatically be added to the class when spot becomes available. You will receive an email as a confirmation stating that you have been added to a class - please make sure you are checking your email! You may receive an email up to 1 hour before the class starts. You will not be charged if you cannot attend the class when you are moved to from the waitlist. Please update your email address to ensure we are able to communicate with you.
In addition, we do not offer the option of 'switching' classes. You are welcome to sign up for a class whenever there is a spot available. However, if you are scheduled for one class but prefer to attend at another time, and are added from the waitlist, you will be charged for both reservations if you have not canceled your class 12 hours before.
How does the Discount Pass work?
This is one of our favorite subscription structures for those who attend classes 1-2 times a week. The Discount Pass is a 30 day membership that allows you to buy classes for $12 per class during that 30 days. There is no auto-renew or obligation to continue.
